Position Summary
We are seeking a Maintenance Planner/Scheduler who will own and manage the scheduling, coordination, and optimization of all maintenance activities across our manufacturing facility. This role is critical to ensuring minimal downtime, accurate preventative maintenance, and smooth communication between maintenance and production.
This is not a desk-only job — we’re looking for someone hands-on, who can think ahead, drive efficiency, and support a high-speed production environment.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and manage preventive maintenance schedules for all equipment
Coordinate unscheduled/emergency maintenance with minimal production disruption
Collaborate with maintenance techs, production leaders, and engineering to prioritize and sequence work
Track and report on completed work orders, equipment performance, and downtime metrics
Maintain CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) and ensure accurate logging
Manage parts inventory and vendor coordination for needed repairs
Ensure all maintenance activities align with safety and compliance standards
Support root cause analysis and long-term solutions for recurring issues
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in a manufacturing maintenance planning/scheduling role
Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of plant operations
Familiarity with CMMS platforms (e.g., Fiix, eMaint, SAP PM, etc.)
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Experience working with PLC systems and industrial automation is a plus
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growing environment
Detail-oriented, dependable, and accountable
Preferred Experience
Prior work in medical manufacturing, packaging, or high-speed production
Background in maintenance supervision, operations, or technical support
Six Sigma/Lean training or certifications (a plus)
