We are hiring a Crew Chief with experience supervising crews, Bilingual preferable, and knowledge in heavy equipment operations for our Houston Location. The Crew Chiefs is responsible for performing duties of overseeing crews of field labor to achieve maximum and continued productivity while maintaining and being responsible for all equipment used. They are responsible for the safe operation of the equipment, trucks, and the safety of their crews. Make recommendations as to the hiring, firing, promotion, demotion, transfer, and compensation of crew members. Evaluates crew members’ performance.

Job Requirements

Must possess a clean Texas Driver License.

Experience with heavy equipment is a plus (skid steer, hydro seeder, trailers, excavators).

Be able to read, write, and speak English.

Ability to follow directions and be motivated to lead individual crews of field labor.

High school diploma preferred, but not required.

Bilingual (English/Spanish) not required but it is a plus.

General understanding irrigation systems, including how controllers activate solenoids to open valves. Replace sprinkler components such as rotors, spray heads, and bubblers.
