Role Overview:
We’re looking for a highly organized, proactive Post-Production Assistant to serve as the central coordinator for the post-production team. This role is ideal for someone interested in film production, festival strategy, or PR, and who enjoys keeping projects on track while collaborating with a creative team. You will report directly to the director and producer and help manage the workflow between post-production, PR, and festival strategy efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain the post-production calendar and track deadlines for edits, sound, color, and final deliverables
Coordinate with the editor, producer, PR strategist, and festival strategist to ensure workflow alignment
Assist in creating and managing festival submissions and communications with festivals
Help PR strategist with press kit materials, social media planning, and outreach tasks
Organize and coordinate photo shoots or promotional assets with actors and photographers
Schedule team meetings, document progress, and distribute meeting notes
Ensure all final assets (film, press kit, stills, trailers) are properly organized and ready for submission
Delegate and monitor tasks within the post-production workflow to ensure team accountability
Skills & Qualifications:
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
Proficiency with Google Docs, Sheets, Drive, or similar productivity tools
Proactive, self-motivated, and collaborative
Interest in film production, festival strategy, or PR
Bonus: experience with Canva, InDesign, or light graphic design

Duration: 4 months (September–December)
Stipend: $1000 completion stipend
This internship may be eligible for course credit depending on the requirements of the student’s academic institution. The student will be responsible for coordinating credit approval with their school.
