Emory Healthcare is seeking a Contract Build Analyst to join our Medical Economics team
The Contract Build Analyst role is responsible for implementing, validating, and maintaining contract models within the StrataJazz and EPIC platforms; in addition to supporting strategic initiatives related to payor agreements
Implementation includes configuring user requirements. Validation requires identifying scenarios to prove contract build is working as anticipating and developing a QA process
Maintenance will be updating the contracts for annual and quarterly requirements
The Contract Build Analyst collaborates closely with Finance, Revenue Cycle, and Business Office teams to ensure contract data integrity and to support reimbursement optimization and decision-making
This position plays a critical role in aligning system functionality with user requirements by configuring and validating contract terms, building contract workflows, analyzing trends, and generating reports that drive operational and financial performance
The Contract Build Analyst role should be knowledgeable about Payor/Provider contract terminology for hospitals and/or physician practices as well as pricing methodologies used within contracts
Reporting to the Director of Medical Economics and EHN Analytics, this role provides critical insights into contract trends, identifying areas for process improvement, and supporting efforts to optimize the organization's revenue decision support contract performance
Contract Modeling, Implementation, and Validation:
Responsible for the configuration and build of payor contract models within StrataJazz and EPIC
Identify system issues and escalate risks proactively to relative parties
Collaboration & Communication:
Serve as a liaison between Medical Economics, IT, Finance, and other departments on contract needs
Clearly communicate technical information to non-technical audiences
Data Analytics and Performance Improvement:
Responsible for tracking and reporting of contract accuracy and making recommendations to improve contract performance
Travel: Less than 10% of the time may be required
Work Type: Hybrid employee - splits time between working remotely and working in the office
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, Experience in Lieu of Degree must be a 1:1 ratio of experience to education
Experience - 3 years minimum experience
Knowledge, skills, and abilities (required):
Excel (Advanced)
SQL or Relational Database Concepts
StrataJazz, EPIC or other Contract Analytics Software Knowledge
What-If Scenario Building
Report creation
Strong Communication Skills - written and verbal
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education - Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
Experience - 5 years minimum experience
