Job Summary: In this role, you will ensure safe and efficient transportation of products from the warehouse to various customers while adhering to company standards.

Conduct Overnight Deliveries, with dispatch from Sunday to Friday.

Most routes are completed in fewer than 36 hours.

Responsibilities:

Safely unload products from the trailer, placing items according to customer specifications and company standards.

Complete all necessary paperwork as per company and DOT regulations.

Ensure compliance with food safety protocols throughout the delivery process.

Build and maintain positive relationships with customers through excellent service and communication.

Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Required Minimum Education/Experience:

High school diploma/GED/equivalent, or completion of a tractor trailer driving school.

Ability to effectively communicate in English, including understanding and responding to traffic signs.

Certifications and/or Technical Requirements:

Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License and insurability to operate a vehicle.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe delivery practices.

Skillful in long-distance driving and effective customer communication.

Able to manage hazardous materials and ensure product integrity throughout deliveries.

Physical Demands: You will be required to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and push/pull up to 350 pounds with a hand cart. Driving and maneuvering a tractor-trailer will be a daily activity.

Work Environment: Expect to work in various weather conditions and face challenges common to the delivery environment. The role includes occasional exposure to high places and requires flexibility for overnight shifts and weekend work.
