We're looking for a talented and dedicated Davenport Screw Machine Machinist to join our team in Seymour, CT.

As a Davenport Screw Machine Machinist, you'll be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining Davenport multi-spindle screw machines. Your expertise will be crucial in producing high-quality, precision parts for a variety of industries. This role requires a keen eye for detail and a commitment to safety and efficiency.

What to expect:

Install and align cams, gears, collets, and other tooling according to job specifications and blueprints to control stock and tool movements.

Set up and operate Davenport multi-spindle screw machines, monitoring operations and adjusting feeds and speeds to meet production standards.

Perform 1st piece inspections and ongoing quality checks using micrometers, calipers, and comparators to ensure parts conform to drawing dimensions and tolerances.

Perform routine machine maintenance and diagnose and resolve mechanical problems or tooling issues during production runs.
