Job Description

The Wonderful Company is seeking a Strategy Associate Manager, CSR to sit at the center of our Education, Health & Wellness, and community philanthropy programs to manage key projects, produce reports for senior leadership, and conduct analyses to evaluate and improve our CSR efforts. The primary focus of this role is to provide data-driven insights and analytical support to determine the impact of our philanthropic efforts and support our investment strategy across our CSR program to combat the cycle of poverty in the communities we serve. This position reports to the Manager of CSR Strategy on a cross-functional team that collaborates across the enterprise. This is a full time in person role at our Shafter Amenities building.

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:

Create regular and ad-hoc presentations to communicate trends, data insights, and strategies for stakeholders at all levels, from school administration to senior leaders

Aggregate, clean, and analyze data on a regular basis using Excel, PowerBI, and other tools to create PowerPoint and Word reports spanning our education, health and wellness, and community philanthropy work

Perform targeted data analyses and research of both internal and external data (both qualitative and quantitative) to inform forward-looking decisions for program needs

Provide operational support across the CSR department to ensure our programs meet the desired outcomes, and ensure new program rollouts meet predetermined milestones

Work with the departmental leaders and continuous improvement team to drive strategy behind department-wide continuous improvement efforts

Develop trusted relationships with stakeholders across Wonderful through frequent, professional communication, reporting, and coordination to support implementation of CSR priorities

Qualifications

Passion for social impact and combating cycles of poverty through holistically addressing social determinants of health

Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and communicate insights in a simple way that supports decision-making and tactical action

Detail-oriented and attentive to information accuracy – with advanced Excel skills and experience cleaning and manipulating large, complex data sets and proactively identifying and solving errors

Superb interpersonal and communication skills, with confidence managing up and laterally, and the ability to adapt to a variety of communication styles across a large organization

Flexible multi-tasker, with the agility and ability to adjust priorities on the fly to fulfill urgent requests, and a “roll up your sleeves” attitude

Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Experience building PowerPoint decks, with an eye for concise and precise information design

Proficient in or eager to learn Alteryx and Power BI

Education & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree required

1-3 years of experience in an Analytics, Strategy Consulting, Research, or Business Intelligence role at a fast-paced company, with evidence of generating reports synthesizing large amounts of data to drive business decisions

Experience in the Education, Health & Wellness, or Community & Philanthropy sectors preferred

Demonstrated success in analyzing data, deriving insights, and communicating insights in a way that inspires action

Pay Range: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00. Final compensation will be dependent upon skills & experience.
