Starting pay: $15 - $18; depending on experience
Must be in office Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm
Must be able to work over 40 hours during peak time: January 1 – April 15th & August 15th – October 15th
Allred Tax Advisors, PLLC is looking to hire a Tax Administrative Assistant to its growing organization. The ideal candidate will provide support to the organization’s tax and accounting department. Your role is a combination of administrative assistance and accounting support.

Required Experience:
Prior experience working in a CPA firm
Strong Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Tax software experience: CCH Axcess
Workstream/CCH Experience is Required

Administrative Assistance and Executive Administrative Assistance skills
Previous experience in tax preparation or accounting is beneficial
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
Familiarity with all Tax Forms and Workpaper organization
Responsibilities:
Answer multiline phone system and direct calls where needed.
Phone Etiquette and strong Communication skills
Assemble and Process tax Returns
Print and assemble tax returns and save the return to our electronic filing system through tax software
Prepares and returns original tax documents to client
Transmits documents, such as PDF copies of return, estimated payments as requested by tax signer
Help with preparing the engagement letters and updating spreadsheet when needed
Provide frontline and backup support to the tax department
Confers with clients by telephone in attempt to determine status of tax returns
Assist in organizing and coordinating arrival of client documents
Assist in resolving E-file errors by contacting the signer
Order tax departmental supplies as needed
Ability to work additional hours as needed
