Location: Large University Campus – Reading, PA

Pay Rate: $18.00/hour

Shifts: Second & Third Shift (Evenings and Overnights)

We are currently hiring reliable, flexible Security Guards to work at a large university campus in the Reading area. These positions are ideal for individuals seeking steady work in a professional, high-responsibility environment.

Job Responsibilities:

Patrol university buildings and grounds (on foot and by vehicle).

Monitor security systems and report unusual activity.

Respond to incidents and emergency situations as needed.

Enforce campus rules and assist with access control.

Remain alert and vigilant for extended periods.

Complete detailed incident and shift reports.

Requirements:

Clean criminal background – absolutely no misdemeanors or felonies.

Must be able to obtain required clearances, including background checks and possible fingerprinting.

Valid driver’s license required.

Must be flexible with shift times and available for weekends or holidays as needed.

Able to walk, stand, and remain attentive for long periods.

Dependable, professional, and able to work independently or within a team.

Prior security, law enforcement, or military experience is a plus but not required.
