MS Dynamics AX Consultant

We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Dynamics AX Consultant to support our enterprise application environment, with a strong focus on data extraction, transformation, and performance optimization. The ideal candidate must have a deep knowledge of AX modules and be proficient in SQL development.

Job Responsibilities:

Understand and support all core Dynamics AX modules, including:

Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), Inventory Management (IM), Fixed Assets (FA), and Projects

Work independently to deep dive into concepts after a high-level knowledge transfer to:

Debug existing AX customizations

Trace and understand business logic in X++ and SQL

Extract and transform data from Microsoft SQL Server

Write and optimize complex SQL queries for reporting and migration

Perform pre- and post-validation to ensure data quality

Create documentation for SQL processes, data mappings, and validation steps

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

5+ years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX (2012 or later)

Strong knowledge of X++ development and AX architecture

Proficiency in MS SQL Server and query optimization

Experience with data migration, transformation, and validation

Ability to work in a fast-paced, minimal-supervision environment

Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries and optimizing the scripts.

Solid understanding of stored procedures, triggers, and functions.

Knowledge of data conversion best practices.

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Familiarity with other database systems (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle) is a plus.

Must be available to work during 11:30 AM IST – 8.30 PM IST
