Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 per year

Job Details

Responsibilities

Develop, optimize, and maintain manufacturing processes to ensure efficiency, safety, and product quality

Lead the integration of new production lines, including equipment design, layout, and process validation

Use CAD and CAM tools to design or modify equipment and tooling for in-house or outsourced fabrication

Collaborate with cross-functional teams on automation, material handling, and process improvements

Analyze production data to identify inefficiencies and implement corrective actions

Support documentation including process flows, SOPs, and control plans

Partner with equipment vendors and maintenance to implement upgrades and new technologies

Drive continuous improvement initiatives using lean and Six Sigma methodologies

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or related Engineering field

3+ years of manufacturing engineering experience in a production environment

Strong knowledge of CAD software (e.g. Pro Engineer, Mastercam, etc.)

Hands-on mechanical aptitude with ability to design and improve manufacturing equipment

Experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other structured process improvement methods

Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills

Nice to Haves

Background in polymers, wire manufacturing, or non-ferrous metals

Prior experience in medical device manufacturing or catheter production

Familiarity with ISO 9001 or IATF 16949 standards

Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification

Experience supporting automation projects and advanced material processing
