Accounts Intern

JOB DETAILS: Sokoni Africa Limited is offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Intern to join our finance team.

This internship is designed for individuals seeking to gain practical experience in accounting and finance within a dynamic environment.

As an Account Intern, you will assist with various accounting tasks, support financial reporting, and learn about day-to-day accounting operations.

Responsibilities Assist with the preparation and maintenance of financial records and reports Support the accounts payable and receivable processes Help reconcile bank statements and manage transactions Participate in month-end closing activities and assist with audits Provide administrative support to the accounting team as needed Learn to use accounting software and tools relevant to the role Perform any other tasks assigned by the accounting manager Requirements Recent graduate or current student pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications Good communication and interpersonal skills Attention to detail and a desire to learn Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
