JOB DETAILS: Key Responsibilities Supporting the Managing Director in the development and implementation of strategic plans that align with the organization’s objectives and mission.
Lead cross-functional department teams to ensure the successful execution of projects and initiatives, fostering collaboration and accountability.
Analyze overall country operational processes and identify opportunities for improvement to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) across all departments, and prepare reports to provide insights on team performance and operational outcomes.
Facilitate communication between department managers to promote a cohesive working environment and ensure alignment on objectives.
Mentor and develop Uganda Management team members, providing guidance and support to enhance their professional growth.
Job Requirements A bachelor’s degree in a related field, such as business administration, management, or public administration Several years of experience in a field-based leadership or management role across Rural Districts of Uganda, preferably in a Social Enterprise.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with staff members, stakeholders, and other external parties.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to identify and address problems quickly and effectively.
Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
A proven track record of leading and managing teams and the ability to motivate and inspire staff members.
A good understanding of the rural cultures, demographics and economic conditions of Rural Uganda.

Uganda Field Experience: In-depth knowledge of the rural economies in Uganda, including current trends and best practices in sales and marketing.
Driving: A valid driving permit and willingness to travel as often as needed to support field operations in Uganda
