Student Life Counseling and Consultation

Counseling and Consultation Service (CCS) provides mental health counseling and consultation to the undergraduate, graduate and professional students of The Ohio State University.

The program assistant provides administrative support to the Outreach area including supporting the Outreach Director. The candidate serves as a liaison between staff and the outreach program; prepares and distributes reports, brochures, materials, and correspondence; coordinates and schedules meetings; participates on the outreach committee and maintains minutes; maintains audio/visual equipment; updates agency website; other duties may be assigned in coordination with the Administrative Associate.

This position will also provide reception for Counseling and Consultation Service co-located at Younkin Success Center and Lincoln Tower. Answers high volume multiline phones, including calls from distressed constituents; checks in clients and greets visitors; provides customer service to a diverse client population; schedules and reschedules client appointments; handles confidential information and inquiries; works effectively in a fast-paced environment; maintains knowledge of CCS services; provides resource options; fields student requests for prescription refills; participates in staff trainings and weekly meetings. This position may include occasional backup for evening coverage.

Additional Information:

The pay range for this position is: $18.37-$20.07.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

High School diploma or GED. Certification or vocational training may be preferred. 1 year of relevant experience required.

Desired Qualifications: 2-4 years of relevant experience.

CRM: FUNCTION Business Planning and Operations, SUB-FUNCTION Administrative Assistance, CAREER BAND Individual Contributor - Technical and CAREER LEVEL T2.
