Position Summary:
The IS Network Security Engineer (INSE) is responsible for implementing, administering, and troubleshooting of the hospital network infrastructure. In this capacity, the INSE will be responsible for administration and troubleshooting of Citrix NetScaler and Cisco products to include firewalls, routers, and switches.

Education:
Bachelors' degree (BS) in IT OR may substitute 2 year's IT experience AND demonstrated technical skills to include network security, administration, and troubleshooting. Experience
Experience with Cisco and Citrix NetScaler network devices
Solid understanding of Windows Server environments and networking
Preferred In depth knowledge of TCP/IP, Firewall policies and operations, Virtual routers and Policy based routing, Load balancing, QoS, and Packet capture analysis.
Preferred Experience with Breach Detection System (BDS), Intrusion Prevention System (IPS), Inline Content Scanner/Web Content Filter and SIEM systems
Knowledge of program development and administration preferred. Licensure/Certification/Registration
Current security certification in one of the following: CCNA Security, Security+, CISSP or Associate. Duties & Responsibilities:
Responsible for deploying Cyber Security mandated system upgrades, patches and perform modifications to ensure systems are protected against known exploits.
Coordinate Security Strategy for the organization with other IS engineers.
Additional duties may include assisting and/or own managing, monitoring, and administering datacenter systems and assisting with security strategies for the organization.
Work with the CMC-IS leadership team to ensure all work is approved, understood, communicated, and executed in a professional manner.
Ensure that the delivery of services meets or exceeds user needs, is in line with Hospital and IS Policy, and is delivered in a timely manner.
Must be able to understand and communicate technical terminology to a varied audience in laymen's terms.
Work effectively and collaboratively with colleagues, physicians, department heads, and members of leadership.
Effectively utilize strong organizational skills.
Consistently display effective verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient use of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Explorer, and PowerPoint.
Proficiency with implementing, administering, and troubleshooting of hospital network infrastructures.
