Hourly Position 1st shift, Mon-Fri, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

The primary responsibilities of this role are to appropriately receive and verify quantities of incoming materials. This includes maintaining raw material shelves, checking in packages, labeling items, and documenting them in the computer system. You will be in regular communication with leaders and purchasing personnel.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

- Safely unload and load incoming trucks using pallet jacks.

- Prepare daily reports for all incoming FedEx and UPS shipments.

- Verify incoming packages and shipments against vendor documentation.

- Accurately and promptly enter received goods into the ERP system.

- Weigh packages to confirm shipping weights match vendor labels.

- Conduct cycle counts by metering wire and cable.

- Investigate inventory discrepancies and report findings to the Purchasing Department.

- Prepare and pack outgoing shipments and assist the Shipping Department as needed.

- Carry materials up and down stairs to and from the stockroom.

- Perform other duties as assigned by a supervisor or management.

Physical Requirements

- Ability to lift up to 70+ pounds.

- Ability to stand for most of the day.

- Ability to maintain a brisk pace to ensure timely deliveries.

- Ability to walk up and down stairs frequently while carrying boxes up to 60+ pounds.

- Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.

Qualifications

- High school diploma or relevant work experience.

- Ability to speak, read, and write in English.

- Basic computer knowledge.

- Experience in a receiving role is preferred.

- Ability to count, perform basic math, and use a scale.

- Ability to follow written or oral instructions.

- Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented.

Work Environment

This is a well-lit, climate-controlled facility with low to moderate noise levels. While performing the essential duties of this job, you will spend most of your time on your feet.
