CLASS 2 DRIVER

MONDAY - FRIDAY: START TIMES FROM 4.00AM - 6.00AM DAILY

PAY RATE: £15.50 - £16.50 PER HOUR

Rates of Pay:

Basic: £15.50 per hour

Nights : £16.50 per hour

Day to Day Duties

Your duties as a Class 2 Driver will involve but not be limited to:

Distance work

2/3 deliveries per day

2/3 nights out per week

Ensure the load is properly secured

Adhere to traffic laws and regulations

Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers

Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management

Assist with loaded and unloading of cargo as needed

Essential Skills

As a Class 2 Driver you will need to:

Hold a valid UK Category C Licence

Have a minimum of 12 months experience driving Category C vehicles

No more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codes

Have a valid UK CPC Card & UK Digi Card

Must be able to speak and read a good level of English

Punctuality and excellent time keeping skills

Have a good understanding of traffic laws and regulations

Effective communication skills

Desirable Experience

Experience driving any commercial vehicles would be beneficial

Previous experience in multi drop experience will be beneficial

Training

Driver's Assessment will have to be completed

Industry related training and ongoing support throughout
