Security Guard - Summerland

Commissionaires BC is currently looking for Security professionals to work at a Government of Canada site in Summerland. As a Security Officer, you'll be responsible site access control, continuous foot and vehicle patrols of the interior and exterior of the building.

Payrate: $21.00/hour

We have the following permanent positions available:

Saturday & Sunday 4pm - 12am (Starting Oct 1)

Your 'Must Haves':

BC Security Workers License

5 years living in Canada, due to clearance requirements

Class 5 Drivers License a clear driver’s abstract

Basic First Aid / OFA 1

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated experience in preparing security reports

Proficient with MS Office and comfortable with using computers

Ability to obtain and maintain security clearances

Job Duties:

Provides excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and providing solutions. Liaison between the site and the public

Interior and exterior patrols, including extensive walking patrols

Access Control and visitor verification

Gate checks

Lowering and raising of flags

Snow clearing
