In East Boston, MA, provide In-Home and community therapeutic services to children and families. Conduct intake interviews to evaluate mental health, create a treatment plan. Identify the clients problem and set treatment goals, recommend strategies for treating infantile and juvenile disorders. Implement techniques/therapeutic interventions. Keep notes of treatment and recommend changes on treatment plan. Run symptom-specific therapeutic interventions for functioning levels and/or diagnostic categories. Provide therapy services using knowledge and experience treating complex trauma, depression and anxiety in children and adults using knowledge and experience with hypnotherapy. Attend team meetings and collaborate with team members on clients treatment plans and progress. With supervisor discuss issues, or problems relating to client care.
The experience and education requirements are:
1 year of experience as a clinical psychologist or a related field.
Master’s degree in Psychology or the equivalent, as determined by a credential evaluation agency
