Senior Test Automation Engineer

As a Senior Test Automation Engineer, you will provide strong understanding and have exposure to the Automation Framework and test management tools supported by Test automation team. You will understand system integration, regression, end-to-end testing, as well as administration and implementation, planning of test tools. You will understand SDLC standards and best automation practices.

To be successful in this role, you will:

Assist in creating automation test strategy, scripting and plans for all the projects involved in using standards and methodologies defined by the organization.

Develop automated test cases for system integration and regression testing

Create and execute SQL scripts for data validation and creation

Develop integration and regression test cases based on test design best practices and based on experience

Execute automated test cases as per the Quality Assurance plan for the project and report progress of test execution as per organization standards

Understand usage of Test tools used for each project and apply accordingly

Develop and provide coaching and training to testing teams on requirement basis

Maintain test automation tools, test environments and frameworks

Develop and implement APIs to provide integration between test management, defect tracking and source management tools

Perform Product analysis and requirements clarification for ease of Understanding and automation

Perform automation test results analysis post execution of testing and provide feedback on areas of improvements in code and environment

Continuously perform Risk analysis during the entire lifecycle of the project and ensure all risks are understood and communicated by testing center of excellence Manager Risk analysis

Report status of progress of testing through daily, weekly and other reporting mechanism to all stakeholders for the project

Report defects in the defect management system and ensure the status of the defect is tracked to closure

Location: Krakow

Hybrid model 3 days per week in the office /2 days for a parent of a child up to 4 years

Qualifications for your role would include:

Master's or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field

Minimum three years of experience in Test Automation and related tools

Deep understanding of quality assurance

Understanding of system integration, regression, administration and implementation

Strong experience with SDLC standards and best automation practices.

Knowledge of software development methodologies (Agile and Waterfall)

SQL knowledge and database understanding

Java programming experience (nice to have: OCAJP/OCPJP certification)

Scripting knowledge in Java and Rest APIs required

Good knowledge of test automation tools and frameworks
