Warehouse Lead with Forklift Certification
Location: Jersey Village area (77065)
Pay Rate: $18/hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (overtime as needed)
Company Overview:
Our client is a scaffolding plank company serving industrial and construction clients. They are seeking a dependable Forklift Driver to join their team and help support the General Manager in the day-to-day warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate a forklift to load, unload, and move materials throughout the yard and warehouse.
Read and interpret measuring tools, including a ruler, to ensure accuracy in handling and organizing planks.
Assist in maintaining an organized and safe work environment.
Follow instructions precisely and complete tasks in a timely manner.
Support daily operations with attention to detail and accuracy.
Participate in organizing inventory and staging materials for customer orders.
Be available to work overtime as required by business demands.
Requirements:
Forklift Certification (required). (will be tested).
Ability to read a ruler and measure accurately. (will be tested).
Strong organizational skills and ability to follow directions.
Attention to detail and commitment to safety.
Reliable, punctual, and willing to work overtime when needed.
Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred).
Previous warehouse or industrial experience is a plus.
Previous supervisory or team lead experience is also a plus.
Schedule & Compensation:
Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM.
$18/hour with overtime opportunities.
