Verification Analyst – Asset Management
As part of the Asset Management New Build Team the Verification Analyst role is to assist the Asset Management Engineer with ensuring the quality of data being entered into the PMS of selected New Build Vessels. Base in Papenburg, Germany this will involve physical verification of all assets fitted to the vessel at new build and cross referencing against data entered into the PMS.
Job Requirements
The key responsibilities for this role include:
Responsible for verification of fitted assets to new build vessels.
Collection and organisation of required machinery details which are then used as verification of ships planned maintenance database accuracy.
To become involved with maintenance plan development for new build vessels as directed by the Engineer, Asset Management.
To maintain the data gathered on board like photos and templates
Organize the folder structure on the server in order to ensure a good housekeeping of files.
Support Asset Management team in strategic initiatives related to maintenance and technical inventory.
Extracting of data belonging to maintenance and spares as directed by the Verification Engineer
Support the ships crew by delivering data needed to support their business.
To become fully familiar with Carnival Corporation Asset Management Systems and PMS.
To become fully familiar with the overall asset management strategy implemented by Carnival at a corporate level.
To support conformity if the asset management database and planned maintenance system with relevant legislation and optimal safety/reliability of the fleet.
To keep appraised of current and changing Asset Management, stock and inventory optimisation operational practices in the Carnival Group/industry in general and receive and act on feedback on the performance of vessels in service.

To ensure that accurate records of verified equipment are kept and filed properly.
To produce reports on verification progress as directed by the Asset Management Engineer
To be successful in this role you will need to have previous experience in shipping or the shipbuilding industry. Ideally you will have previous involvement in new large cruise vessel construction in a shipyard and involvement with inspecting to Class regulations and build specifications.
You will be educated to national diploma level in engineering or a maritime related subject (or equivalent)
