Production Operator (2nd Shift) Job Title: Relief SMC Operator Wage: $25.47 hour plus night shift and Sunday premiums Location city, state: Kiel, Wisconsin Hours: 2nd Shift: 3:00pm – 11:00pm (Start and End times may vary based on production needs) Overtime: Eligible for overtime after 8 hours Schedule: 10 days on & 4 days off $2500 Sign-on Bonus You will receive a sign-on bonus of $500.00 after 60 days of employment.

After six months of employment, you will receive a $1,000.00 retention bonus, and after one year of employment you'll receive your second payment of your retention bonus of $1,000.00.

All totaled you will receive $2,500.00 in sign-on and retention bonuses.

JOB DESCIPTION: The Relief SMC Operator is the front-line employee who is responsible for monitoring the manufacturing processes involving the SMC, DMC, Towers, Salt Process, Fines Saver, Boxer and Curb Distribution Tank (CDT); to add value and quality inputs and create the final high-quality product that Land O’Lakes Is known for.

In all stages of production safety, attention to detail, quality and sanitation focus, and efficiency are key to the success of the operation.

EDUCATON:High School Diploma or GED, preferred REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:6 plus months of solid work experience in any industryBasic computer skillsAbility to follow manufacturer's specifications and direction MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:18 years or olderAble to work in a fast-paced environmentWork in cold and/or hot temperatures throughout the dayAdhere to all standard operating procedures (SOPs)Self-reliant and able to accurately work under limited supervision Ensures a safe working environment while performing assigned tasksCustomer focused and able to work in a collaborative team Ability to be flexible in work performed and scheduleAbility to read, write, comprehend, follow verbal and written instructions and possess basic mathematical skillsAbility to lift/carry up to 55 lbs.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:Experience communicating with supervisors and co-workers in a team environment.Previous experience in a food manufacturing environment is a plusKnowledge of various pieces of high tech manufacturing processing and packaging equipment.

Physical Requirements for production positions regularly include:Frequent movements include walking, standing, bending/stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, lifting, climbing and other active movementsPerforming duties while wearing personal protective equipmentWorking across temperature zones that may include cold and/or hot environments for extended periods and may include work in environments where dust is presentShift schedules that include days, nights, and weekends, some holidays and periodic overtimeRoutinely climbing stairs and ladders while performing the duties of this role.
