Schedule: Monday - Saturday 6:30AM - 5PM, 2 Saturdays a month

SUMMARY:
As a Dialysis Tech, your attention to detail and kind, patient focused attitude while administering dialysis is crucial to sustaining the lives of our patients.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Sets up dialysis treatment equipment per orders
Dismantles, cleans and disinfects dialysis machine.
Ensures dialysis machine is in proper working condition.
Maintains a clean, safe and welcoming environment.
Maintains the water room in accordance with established policies.
Ability to lift a minimum of 35lbs, stand, stoop, obtain objects stored at higher levels, and full range of motion.
Understand and follow applicable policies and procedures.
Completes unit based clinical competency education requirements.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
One year of healthcare or hospital experience preferred
Strong customer service, computer, and communication skills
EDUCATION:AS: Nursing (Required)
LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS: BLS - Basic Life Support - American Heart Association (AHA), RN - Registered Nurse - New York State Education Department (NYSED)
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.
