Job Description

Salary: 11.50

Position Objective:

Keeping building in clean and orderly condition.

Primary Responsibilities:

Maintain the cleanliness of the premises, including but not limited to: restrooms, common areas, kitchen, private offices (upon request), store, classrooms, and the outside facility.

Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming

Proper usage of chemical and the wearing of proper PPEs when required.

Knowledge of Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS)-how to use them and where they are stored

Adheres to safety policies

Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment.

Gather and empty trash.

Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.

Performs all other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills:

Ability to work independently

Basic janitorial skills and knowledge

Good communication skills

Education:

High School or GED

Physical Demands:

The employee is required to use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; frequent talking and hearing, and use of close, distance, color, and peripheral vision and depth perception; frequent standing, sitting, walking, and the ability to reach with hands and arms; occasional overhead reaching and kneeling, twisting, bending, stooping; frequent ability to lift and /or move up to fifty pounds.
