Draftsman

The Draftsman is responsible for preparing detailed technical drawings and plans based on specifications provided by engineers, architects, or designers.

This role requires proficiency in drafting software, strong attention to detail, and the ability to translate concepts into clear, professional drawings for construction or manufacturing purposes.

Key Responsibilities: Create detailed architectural, engineering, or structural drawings using CAD or other drafting software Review and interpret design specifications, sketches, and models Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure accuracy and completeness of drawings Modify and update drawings based on feedback or changes in project scope Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards, codes, and regulations Maintain organized files of drawings and related documentation Assist in preparing presentation materials, reports, or documentation as needed Proven experience as a Draftsman or similar role Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or SolidWorks Strong understanding of engineering and architectural principles Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints Knowledge of building codes and construction standards Associate degree or certification in drafting or related field
