Job Title: Field Service Technician – Nuclear Filtration Systems

Location: Based in Columbus, OH (Relocation Required) Extensive Travel (75%)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Field Service Technician to join our specialized team. In this niche role, you will provide on-site In-Place Testing Services at nuclear facilities across the country. Your work will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of nuclear HVAC and filtration systems, adhering to standards such as AG-1, N511, and N510. This position offers a unique opportunity to grow your expertise in a specialized field, with comprehensive training provided both in-house and on the road during your first year.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct In-Place Testing Services for filtration systems in compliance with AG-1, N511, and N510 standards.

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to maintain the optimal performance of nuclear HVAC systems.

Utilize precision measuring and testing equipment to assess system performance.

Collaborate with team members to meet project timelines and deliver exceptional client service.

Maintain detailed and accurate records of tests and service activities.

Adhere to strict safety protocols and contribute to maintaining a clean, safe work environment.

Travel extensively to client sites, often requiring up to two weeks per month away from home.

Qualifications:

Experience: At least 1 year of professional work experience in an industrial setting; mechanical knowledge preferred.

Technical Skills: Familiarity with nuclear HVAC systems and the ability to use precision measuring and testing tools effectively.

Communication Skills: Proficiency in verbal and written communication in English.

Travel Flexibility: Willingness and ability to travel to various facilities, often on short notice, for extended periods.

Physical Fitness: Capable of standing, walking, and being on your feet for extended hours.

Licensing and Compliance: Valid driver’s license and the ability to pass background checks, psych evaluations, and ongoing drug and alcohol screenings.

Compensation and Benefits:

Pay: $20.00 – $28.00 per hour, based on experience.

Expected Hours: 40–62 hours per week, including overtime and occasional night shifts or weekends.
