Picker Packer

Job Description

This position will prioritize open orders and pack and ship those orders via multiple shipping methods. They will accurately and efficiently fulfill customer orders by utilizing RF Scanners to manually pick parts from set locations.

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES

Use RF Scanner to pick parts from set locations and deliver them to Quality Inspection/Packaging area using a wheeled-cart

Ensure proper parts and accurate quantities are picked according to order specifications

Package orders and prepare them for shipping using UPS and DHL shipping systems

Use hand tools to combine smaller parts into larger assemblies

Cycle count inventory as needed and report shortages

Use multi-step platform ladders, Pallet Jacks, Mobile Parts Picker, and other equipment to pick and move product as needed

Ensure all safety and security rules are strictly observed and any accidents, incidents or injuries are promptly reported to management

Focus on continuous improvement, and consistently demonstrate good business judgment

Work effectively with all Golden departments to exceed internal and external expectations

Assist with organization and cleaning of work area, keeping aisles and walkways clear at all times

Golden retains the discretion to modify duties and/or assign other duties as necessary

Must have the ability to:

Multi-task, problem-solve, and prioritize in a fast-paced working environment

Utilize Golden systems

Stand/walk entire workday

Safely use hand tools

Use multi-step platform ladders to safely pick orders from elevated locations

Lift/Push/Pull up to 50lbs

Must have:

A willingness to learn and/or adapt to new work methods

Good verbal and written communication skills

Basic computer skills
