Senior Project Engineer (093903)

This position's job duties are:

Design engineering projects in the renewable energy services group including biogas generation and wastewater treatment. Work closely with the Project Manager in charge of the project to identify and develop the scope of work, meet customer expectations, assist in pricing contracts, perform engineering services, oversee project quality, identify resources, and manage them relative to a specific project, and meet project deadlines and profitability goals. May serve as the Engineer of Record on project plans and documents. Attend industry events and become involved in the community.

WFH is allowed.

Up to 10% travel for conferences & project site visits is required.

The experience and education requirements are:

2 years of experience in a related occupation.

This position requires the following skills, which may be gained through prior experience or education in degree-granting programs (including projects, papers, internships, practical training experiences or similar):

- Preparation of engineering analyses, piping and other designs, and calculations relative to biogas production and upgrading processes, including anaerobic digestion, fermentation, and gas treatment.

- Writing technical engineering and design reports in the area of biogas production and upgrading.

- Developing a plan and specification for construction documents to detail improvements.

- Performing economic analyses of biogas upgrading projects, including estimating potential revenue and operations and maintenance costs throughout a project’s lifecycle.

- Participation in contract administration, construction submittal reviews, Requests for Information (RFI), Engineer’s Supplemental Instruction (ESI), pay estimates/change orders, and other related activities for biogas and wastewater engineering projects.

- Aspen HYSYS for process modelling.

A Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering, or related field.; foreign equivalents accepted.
