Position Summary: Responsible for direct oversight and management of assigned audit teams. Responsible for service delivery of premium audit function. Serves as LEAD/SME and key contact for premium audit issues. Develops training plans and mentors' staff. Directs work to global teams, as applicable. Ensures compliance and regulatory standards are maintained. May require oversight and maintenance of the Nexus premium audit system, as well as oversight of all procedures and workflow in the department, including maintenance of reference materials and procedure documents. Handling of complex or sensitive audit disputes that are elevated to this role. May also conduct premium audits (both Physical & Virtual) for all lines of coverage across all business units up to the most complex accounts written.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
May develop and maintain department procedures. May be responsible for updates, changes and enhancements to the department procedure manual.
May maintain a resource/reference site for the staff auditors to access (Including a variety of reference materials including unique elements of each state, links to frequently used PAAS materials, and procedures for handling a variety of premium audit situations). This will require constant contact with the field audit staff for suggestions of the type of material to be included on the site. Reference materials are to be kept current through updates as necessary.
Provide regular updates to the Premium Audit VP of issues involving workflow or workloads, disputes received and resolved, as well as audit time service.
May serve as the department’s expert on the Nexus system. Must understand the workflow of premium audits through the system, and be the main point of contact for Nexus issues, enhancements, and any training required for Nexus. May provide support and assistance to the Auditing Team and Audit Operations Team Audit.
May be responsible for the oversight of the Nexus Management tool to research issues, manage workloads and keep audit statuses up to date.
Oversee the Premium Audit GSO team. This will include developing metrics to track their performance, keeping them up-to-date on new procedures, monitoring their performance, and exploring new opportunities to leverage their strengths.
Required Skills and Abilities:
Minimum of 10 years prior premium audit experience;
Collaborative and team oriented;
Customer focused with attention to detail;
Self-directed showing personal accountability and a sense of urgency;
Strong communication and organizational skills;
Ability to work independently;
Ability to multi-task and prioritize a heavy workload to meet agreed upon expectations;
Strong computer skills including the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree preferred. Concentration in Accounting, Finance or a related field is preferable.
Minimum 5-10 years of experience in the premium audit field.

For individuals assigned or hired to work in the location(s) indicated below, the base salary range is provided. Range is as of the time of posting. Position is incentive eligible.
$134,000 - $180,000/year
Total individual compensation (base salary, short & long-term incentives) offered will take into account a number of factors including but not limited to geographic location, scope & responsibilities of the role, qualifications, talent availability & specialization as well as business needs. The above pay range may be modified in the future.
