We are seeking an experienced Senior Controls Engineer to lead our automation projects and enhance our control systems.

Position Overview

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Rockwell PLC programming and a proven track record in industrial automation solutions. This role will involve designing, implementing, and testing control systems to optimize performance and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design and implementation of control systems for various automation projects

Program Rockwell PLCs and develop HMI/SCADA interfaces

Conduct system integration and commissioning of control systems in industrial environments

Troubleshoot and resolve issues with existing control systems and provide technical support

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize processes and enhance system performance

Document system designs, configurations, and maintenance procedures

Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in automation and controls

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field

Minimum of 5 years of experience in control systems engineering with a focus on Rockwell PLCs

Strong knowledge of programming languages including Python, C#, and C++

Experience with HMI, SCADA, Ladder Logic, and other control system software

Familiarity with CFD, Ignition, Machine Vision, FactoryTalk, and industrial robotics is a plus

Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in a team environment

Strong communication skills and ability to convey complex technical concepts
