What is the opportunity?
Are you interested in the opportunity to work as a Application Maintenance and Support - Technical Systems Analyst? What will you do?
Manage system and application compliance items
Develop, code, document and execute programs of difficult complexity. Conduct unit, and systems testing or works alongside project team to review and approve depending on the complexity of the project or the number of development staff on the project.
Prepare and review detailed test plans and documents same for unit, and systems test environments.
Retain test plans, test results and related documentation in order to satisfy an audit review. Signs off on all unit test results, reviews and approves test plans and test cases for any testing beyond unit in support of the Quality Engineering cycles.
Develop detailed plans and accurate estimates for completion of build, system testing and implementation phases of project. Develops master distribution lists, implementation and contingency plans ensuring verification is performed.
Manage joint development, testing and plans and co-ordinates implementations. Performs performance tuning to improve performance over multiple functions. Coordinates testing with external vendors, as/if required.
Review Application compliance items listed and execute steps required to rectify issue
Create Finding and Milestones required to track and manage compliance issue and also work on resolving and closing the issue
Report to senior management on the progress of compliance item assigned
Using different application techniques and tools to meet business requirements which includes component reusability, data sharing and security.
Coordinates design phases for small to medium projects/programs, identifying, tracking and resolving technical issues.
Review present applications being supported in order to Implement enhancement to better support application
Improve application end-to-end availability, develop systems using out of the box thinking and AI.
Research, advise and implement automated tools to improve application service
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information technology or related discipline or equivalent experience
Leadership acumen and a passion to apply it in a dynamic business environment
Excellent interpersonal and highly developed communication skills (verbal and written)
Creative and analytical thinker who is self-driven and capable of working in a fast paced environment
Focused eye for details
Systematic, Logical and Quick Thinker
Strong MS Office skills – Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
Experience or understanding of programming languages, databases, platforms, and/or code management tooling
Willingness to work outside conventional working hours
Nice-to-have
Experience with testing methodology or frameworks, as well as Cross Browser development
Understanding of System / Server Maintenance
Good time management
Knowledge of domains, IP infrastructure, server operating systems, and domain registration standards, as well as an understanding of IT Standards, Methodologies, CMM, and audit requirements
