Job Description
Description:
We are seeking CNC Machine Operators to join our new CNC machining team. In this role, you'll handle a variety of production tasks, including loading materials, operating machines, inspecting parts, and keeping the work area organized and running smoothly. You will work with experienced leads, learn how we run our machining operations, and help refine the way we do things as the department grows.
Introduction to the CNC Machine Operator Role
At SendCutSend, we are focused on making custom parts accessible to everyone. As part of that, we are building out our CNC machining capabilities using 5-axis equipment, including Matsuura MAM72v machines, Haas UMC-750's, and advanced robotic loading and palletizing systems. This equipment allows us to run precise, high-quality jobs at scale while keeping things efficient.
We're looking for CNC Machine Operators who are interested in being part of this from the beginning. Early operators will help shape our processes and help us grow into a 24/7 facility with multiple machines and shifts. If you enjoy working hands-on, learning new equipment, and being part of something that is still evolving, this could be a great fit.
What You'll Do
Operate advanced 5-axis CNC machines (Matsuura MAM72v, Haas UMC-750) and robotic loading systems
Stage, load, and accurately secure raw material into machine vises and fixtures
Assemble, set (length/diameter), and load tools into machine holders
Monitor tool condition through visual inspection, auditory cues, and part quality
Conduct routine quality inspections using basic inspection equipment (pins, calipers, micrometers)
Assist with material handling, machine loading/unloading, and shipment preparation
Perform daily production duties as directed by leadership, adapting to operational needs
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Operate forklifts to transport and store materials as needed
