Western Wisconsin Health is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant (0.85 FTE) to work in the Wound Care Clinic at the Baldwin Campus. The Wound Care MA supports the on-going delivery of care as delegated by the professional clinical staff. They perform tasks which do not require a license, professional judgment or intervention. Duties include rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, height and weight, and collection of basic patient data in the clinic or on the phone, documenting in the electronic medical record, assisting with minor procedures, collecting and labeling specimens, room preparation, and administrative duties. All of this is done to support the organization's mission while living our values.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Qualifications:

Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant program

CPR certification Preferred Qualifications:

Prior work experience with electronic medical records

Prior work experience in a medical and/or community healthcare setting Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Maintain the integrity of highly confidential business and patient information

Display and promote high standards of ethical conduct and behaviors consistent with organizational standards

Exhibit excellent communication and organizational skills

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and electronic medical records

Ability to anticipate, understand, and manage patient expectations and provide consistent delivery of services

Clearly and effectively convey information to patients

Ability to manage conflicting priorities and handle multiple tasks/projects concurrently Work Schedule:

0.85 FTE - 68 hours per biweekly pay period

Monday through Thursday and every other Friday
