My client offers integrated facility cleaning and maintenance solutions tailored for critical environments-such as life sciences, high tech, IT, data centers, aerospace, and defense. They specialize in decontamination, data-center cleaning, and maintaining controlled environments, backed by robust quality assurance programs and a long-standing commitment to sustainability.
We are looking for an experienced BDM to sell in the Dallas / Fort Worth Market and surrounding areas.
The ideal candidate will have industry experience selling in the Life Science and Data Center space.
SUMMARY
The Business Development Manager will perform a pivotal, multi-functional role in implementing the local sales and marketing activities. Responsible for effectively and ethically cultivating maximum sales for the respective territory. The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships with clients. To excel in this role, you should be an active listener, have a compelling sales personality, and a hunger to chase and close new business.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Researching organizations and individuals to find new opportunities
• Increasing the value of current customers while attracting new ones
• Demonstrating ability to balance between maintaining existing business and developing new business
• Understanding local business dynamics, as well as local competitive activity
• Adapting sales strategy as appropriate
• Integrating sales history and financial analysis into sales strategy
• Finding and developing new markets and improving sales
• Developing quotes and proposals for customers
• Maintaining the highest standards of professionalism in all interactions with customers, personnel and other business contacts
• Assisting the Operations Team in staffing and training people at the job site
• Serve as field resource for Jr. Level Sales Representatives/ Field Supervisors/Operations Managers
• Ability to submit and present proposals to senior management.
• Communicate competitive information, territory activities, successes and failures to the senior management
• Participate in special projects as directed by senior management in relationship to sales
• All other duties as defined by supervisor

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or related field preferred
• Experience in sales, marketing or related field.
• Proven sales track record
• Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty
• Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task
• Excellent organizational skills and demonstrate superior project management skills
• Ability to achieve sales quota.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
• Comfortable using a computer for various tasks
• Ability to learn the marketplace, industry, and sales management
Base salary of $120,000 - $130,000 plus commissions...first year OTE is $200K + with uncapped commissions. Car Allowance and a great benefits package.
