The Laboratory Research Operations Analyst 1 will support both research and instructional improvement activities within the Department of Physics as part of the TIPSSS (Transforming Introductory Physics Sequences to Support all Students) project. The role plays a key part in the operation of the department’s Learning Assistant (LA) Program and contributes to associated research and internal evaluation efforts. This includes hands-on support with data collection, student coordination, and administrative and logistical activities that contribute to the success of externally funded educational research. The analyst will work under general direction and collaborate closely with the project’s principal investigator.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

Desired Skills:
Experience supporting academic or research-related work
Experience with data collection and program coordination in an educational or research setting
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Familiarity with basic research methods or university systems is helpful
Ability to manage multiple tasks and communicate effectively with students and colleagues

Salary Range:$24.76-$32.33
The offer for this position will fall within this range based on internal equity, the unit’s available budget, and the candidate’s qualifications.
