Concrete Mixer Operator

Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable Concrete Mixer Operator to safely drive, operate, and maintain a ready-mix concrete truck. The operator is responsible for delivering concrete to job sites in a timely manner while ensuring product quality and compliance with all safety and DOT regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Safely drive a concrete mixer truck to and from plants, job sites, and designated locations.

Load and unload concrete materials while maintaining mix quality.

Operate mixer controls to discharge concrete accurately and efficiently.

Inspect, clean, and perform routine maintenance on the truck and mixer drum.

Communicate with dispatch and site personnel to coordinate deliveries.

Ensure all tickets, logs, and delivery documentation are accurate and complete.

Adhere to DOT, OSHA, and company safety standards at all times.

Assist with plant or yard duties as required.

Qualifications

Valid CDL Class A or B license with a clean driving record.

Previous experience in concrete or construction preferred (training available for motivated candidates).

Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently.

Physically able to lift up to 75 lbs, climb ladders, and work in outdoor conditions.

Strong attention to detail and communication skills.

Commitment to punctuality, reliability, and safety.

Bilingual English and Spanish.

Work Conditions

Outdoor job sites and plant environments.

Early mornings and some weekends depending on workload.

Physical work including climbing, bending, lifting, and prolonged sitting/driving.
