Our DoD/Aerospace client is looking to fill an Integrated Product Team Lead position that just opened in Manassas, VA. In this role, you will be a Mid-to-Senior Level Engineer with 5+ years of technical experience to become an Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead dedicated to the development of military-grade electronics the Common Weapon Launcher (CWL) system. To be considered, you must have a Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience. Agile experience preferred. Must have Integrated Product Team (IPT) experience. Location: Manassas, VA

Position: Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead

Contract: 12-24 months with possibility of going direct

Pay: $65.76/hour

Schedule: Hybrid CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required. Qualifications:

Seeking a Mid-to-Senior Level Engineer with 5+ years of technical experience to become an Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead dedicated to the development of military-grade electronics the Common Weapon Launcher (CWL) system. Duties and Responsibilities Develop a comprehensive understanding of CWL systems and components

Coordinate all activities across multiple engineering disciplines relating to design, procurement, and production of Engineering Development Systems (EDM)

Develop technical presentations, recommendations, and written communications to explain designs to program management and the Navy customer team

Interact with customers at technical levels

Create system level design documentation including Hardware Configuration Item (HWCI) specifications for developed hardware and allocate test methodology to meet each requirement

Develop tester designs and test procedures for Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Environmental Qualification Testing (EQT) Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Candidates should have technical acumen, an educational background, and experience in hardware development.

Familiarity with hardware and system integration testing (Assembly Level Test / Unit Test / Integration Test / System Performance Test)

Digital and/or analog electronics hardware development and troubleshooting experience preferred

Familiarity with US Navy product development and shipboard qualification process

Familiarity with System Engineering Technical Review (SETR) process

Ability to rapidly adapt to handling technical issues found in system integration labs, field environments and during production

Strong written and oral communication skills

Travel may be required as part of this position

Experience with lab equipment including signal generators, high speed oscilloscopes, power analyzers

Proficiency in all phases of PCB design, including: creation of high-level functional diagrams, SPICE analysis, power analysis, component selection, schematic entry, and working with the PCB layout team to optimize placement, signal integrity, fitment, etc.

Strong documentation and communication skills

OrCAD Capture experience a plus

Experience with firmware or microcontrollers a plus

Experience with VHDL/Verilog a plus About APR:
