Job Description

Join Pride Health as a Phlebotomist II at Chicago, IL! This is a 3 months contract role offering a great opportunity for experience to excel in a dynamic environment.

Role: Phlebotomist II

Location: Chicago, IL 60617 (with coverage at additional nearby locations)

570 E 115th St

3223 W 63rd St

2100 E 87th St

Shift Schedule: Monday–Friday (8:30 AM–5:00 PM or 12:00 PM–8:30 PM) + Saturday (8:30 AM–1:30 PM)

Hours per Week: 40 hours

Start Date: ASAP

Pay Highlights: $25/hour

Key Responsibilities:

Perform accurate, timely venipuncture and specimen collection (including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary draws).

Ensure proper patient identification, specimen labeling, and documentation.

Maintain compliance with established protocols for specimen handling, safety, and confidentiality.

Provide exceptional customer service by creating a professional and supportive environment.

Manage multiple priorities in a high-volume setting.

Maintain accurate records and required documentation.

Flexibly cover multiple Patient Service Centers and In-Office Phlebotomy locations on short notice.

Adhere to all company policies, dress code, safety requirements, and guiding principles of excellence.

Qualifications:

Education: High School Diploma or GED required.

Experience: 3+ years phlebotomy experience (including pediatric, geriatric & capillary)

Note: Local candidates within 30 miles are eligible.

*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credit.
