This role will report directly to the Regional Live Events Assistant Manager based in Singapore.
The Disney Live Events Team is dedicated to creating top-quality entertainment through Live Character appearances and events, delivering Magical experiences for Disney guests to support various key business objectives and the Disney, Disney-PIXAR, MARVEL and STAR WARS brands and franchises.
The Events & Live Entertainment Intern role will provide the opportunity to be part of the team that creates, develops, and produces Disney live character events of the highest standards while aligning with business goals, objectives and strategies across Southeast Asia, India, Australia, New Zealand, Korea and Japan. This role will also assist the costuming facility management and resource management as outlined below.
Responsibilities:
Event Production
Liaising with key stakeholders to ensure events operations run smoothly, plus character event requirements are met, and safety is not compromised
Vendor liaison responsibilities to ensure projects adhere to timelines and budgets
Resource Management Support
Monitor and coordinate our performer talent base within the region by keeping an ongoing, up-to-date database of performers in the region
Assist and support the Assistant Manager for talent management (emcee, dancer, performer etc) for appearances or events when required
Co-ordination of performer talent schedule and payment
Costuming and Physical Assets Coordination
Assist and support the Costuming department on costuming to meet event requirements
Assist with costume operations when the need arises
Administrative Coordination
Assist Team Coordinator with relevant department related paperwork including but not limited to, Vendor Contracts, Event Schedules etc
Assist Team Coordinator with Event Logistical paperwork including but not limited to, Travel and Accommodation Bookings, Visa Applications etc.
Assist Team Coordinator with vendor payment related paperwork including but not limited to creating Purchase Orders, Invoice Processing, and WBS creation etc.
Overall
Think creatively to produce new concepts/ideas, while working with available assets
Complete one local Live Character event, from start to end
Provide valuable insights and identify trends in the social media landscape today
Internship Requirements:
Currently an undergraduate pursuing a bachelor's degree/diploma
Still an undergraduate and not yet graduated during the internship period
Must be available for full-time internship commitment (Monday to Friday, 9am-6pm) between January to June 2026

Skills Requirements
Currently an undergraduate pursuing a bachelor's degree/diploma in Events Management, Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field
Knowledge or interest in event production or event management related fields
Interest or fan mentality for Disney, Pixar, Star Wars and Marvel
Self-starter who needs minimal supervision in motivating himself/herself, always looking for opportunities to contribute to our campaigns and overall projects
Ability to adapt quickly to a constantly evolving organisation, and to thrive in a fast-paced working environment
Ability to prioritize workload to meet competing deadlines and manage stakeholder expectations
Strategic thinker with good communication skills
Demonstrated strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
Demonstrated strong Guest Service skills
Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information
Creative mindset with the ability to leverage data to develop strategy/decisions
Proficient in MS Office, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint
Excellent command of written and spoken English
