Architectural Draftsman

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Architectural Drafter to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in drafting residential and/or commercial projects, with the ability to turn design concepts into precise construction documents.

Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed architectural drawings and construction documents

Draft floor plans, elevations, sections, and site layouts

Collaborate with architects, designers, and engineers to refine plans

Ensure drawings comply with local codes, zoning, and building regulations

Revise plans based on client or team feedback

Maintain organized project files and drawing sets

Qualifications:

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar drafting software

Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and code compliance

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Drafting, Architecture, or related field preferred

Previous drafting experience (internship or professional) strongly desired
