Job Description
Position Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Pediatric Physical Therapist to join our team on a part time, flexible hours basis and be part of building a pediatric therapy clinic—and a new way of therapy in our community—that will set a new standard for inclusive, neurodivergent friendly care. The ideal PT has experience working with children, preferably with a background in neurodivergence (e.g., autism, ADHD, sensory processing differences), and is eager to provide personalized therapy that supports developmental growth, mobility, and functional independence—while helping shape something truly exceptional from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide individualized physical therapy services to children in a supportive and engaging environment.
Assess children’s physical abilities, create treatment plans, and monitor progress toward goals.
Use evidence-based techniques to improve strength, balance, coordination, and functional mobility.
Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other therapists to reinforce therapy goals at home and school.
Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of evaluations, treatment sessions, and progress reports.
Foster a positive, encouraging, and child-centered therapeutic environment.
Qualifications:
Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
Current Physical Therapy license in the state of Tennessee.
Experience working with pediatric populations required.
Background or interest in supporting neurodivergent children strongly preferred.
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Compassionate, adaptable, and enthusiastic about working with children and families.
Schedule & Benefits:
Part-time role with flexible scheduling.
50% discount on open play sessions for immediate family members.
Collaborative, family-friendly team environment.
Opportunity to help shape a growing, innovative pediatric clinic.
Mentorship in neurodivergent-affirming therapy, with potential for continuing education support.
We are seeking candidates who are either trained in neurodivergent affirming therapeutic approaches or are eager to be mentored in them. We do not utilize compliance based models, and our focus is on strengths based, respectful, and individualized care.Company Description
