Job Description

Job Title: Production Associate I Department: Supervision- SM Reports to: Shift Manager

Job Summary

The Production Associate I will be responsible for working and maintaining knowledge in at least one area of production process. This position may perform any of the following duties and tasks or be cross-trained into any of the following areas.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Maintains knowledge of various leafy greens, celery, and other products.

Enforces and adheres to all safety regulations as required by the position and the company’s safety

policies.

Adheres to all current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) per the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

Follows and enforces all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) regarding production processing tasks and protocols.

Ensures all actions are taken to prevent food from being contaminated.

Trains and cross-trains personnel as they are assigned to the various areas of production; Ensures tasks can be completed properly and accurately.

Removes debris on floors, removes trash, organizes, and puts away all materials at the end of the production day in preparation for Sanitation crew.

Generally, these roles setup production lines and areas for daily success by preparing all necessary items prior to production start-up.
