Branch Supervisor – First Montana Bank, Missoula - Higgins Branch

We are hiring a Branch Supervisor in our Missoula - Higgins Branch location!

First Montana Bank is seeking an ambitious and energetic professional who is looking for a banking career opportunity as a full-time 40 hr/week Branch Supervisor in Missoula, MT. This position is responsible for accurate and courteous processing of customer paying and receiving transactions, answering the telephone, assisting customers with inquiries regarding their accounts, and for other customer services that contribute to favorable customer relations and efficient operations. This position is also responsible for presenting and cross-selling the Bank’s financial products and services, utilizing the principles of the CARE program and operating within the policies, procedures and guidelines established by the Bank, as well as all applicable laws and regulations. In addition, this position is accountable for assisting the Branch Retail Manager and/or Market President in coordinating and supervising the activities of the retail functions to maintain operational effectiveness. This position will be based in the Missoula Higgins branch. This position may serve as a backup at the Missoula Brooks branch when necessary. Monday through Friday schedule and no weekends for Missoula branches!

Education/Experience: to perform this job successfully, an individual must have:

a High School Diploma or a General Education Degree required

a minimum of two (2) years related experience required

a minimum of two (2) years banking experience strongly preferred

supervisory or management experience strongly preferred

or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Certificates/Licenses: To perform this job successfully, an individual must:

have the ability to be bonded

have the ability to obtain Notary Public certification

Physical Abilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to:

Regularly - stand, grasp, reach, talk, and hear

Occasionally - sit, walk, lift/carry/push up to 25 pounds, and stoop/crouch
