Landscape/Hardscape Installation Crew Leader

Job Description

Salary: $21.00-24.00 Hour

Leads Install crews while producing landscape projects on time and on budget, within the required parameters of the project.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Is responsible for maintaining safety standards on the job site.

2. Coordinates with Project Manager to schedule any necessary materials, subcontractors, equipment, etc.

3. Produces the project within hours budgeted.

4. Submits all records to PM for each job, daily, as required by Wyscape.

5. Works without supervision, using skills and knowledge gained by experience, industry certification, or a degree, to install landscaping projects.

6. Operates equipment in a safe manner, observing all safety regulations as prescribed by Wyscape and the equipment operators manual. Trains crew members in equipment operation.

7. Reads, interprets, and implements Landscape and Construction Plans. Works without supervision, using skills and knowledge gained by experience, industry certification, or a degree to install landscaping projects.

Reads and implements Wyscape handbook.

Position Requirements

A high school diploma or GED

Minimum two years of leading a landscape installation/maintenance crew

A valid drivers license

Working knowledge of standard construction and/or horticultural practices

Strong oral and written communication, math, and job planning skills, along with mechanical aptitude
