A can-do attitude and mindset to aggressively sell document destruction and medical waste disposal services to prospective customers within our designated territory, achieving specific set and measurable sales goals. Disciplined as you will be working individually up to 95% of your day. We require you to be self-motivated, dependable, and personable with a high energy level. An utmost professional, with the ability to clearly communicate verbally and in written correspondence using creative persuasion to inform and convert prospects to customers finding the best products to fulfill their business needs. Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel & Outlook) as well as the ability to learn other software systems and work with multiple ones simultaneously is required. You need to be a team player and able to work collaboratively with all departments. Dedicated to building your knowledge of the company’s products and services, in order to be a helpful expert who not only meets but exceeds the customer’s expectations on a regular basis. Develop and maintain a pipeline of opportunities. Work with customers actively listening to their needs, inquiries and complaints fully and resolving while maintaining the company’s best interest as well. Achieve revenue targets. Having integrity for yourself and the company in all business transactions for the company. Be honest and straightforward with the prospects and customers. You are not just selling our service, you are selling yourself, the company, and all team members with each Service Agreement. Report daily activity and sales results to Sales Manager or other upper management as directed. Consistently shop our competitors in the shred and medical waste disposal industries, through phone calls, internet inquiries and asking returning customers, to build a solid base of knowledge regarding their process, prices and procedures of doing business. Attend weekly sales meetings, sharing ideas of what has worked in capturing new customers, and training team members when needed. Rotating phone days with other AE’s, giving you a day to receive all incoming leads. On non-phone days, you will be expected to call on potential customers in person and / or by phone. Work from the office as well as out in the field (1-2 days per week) is required.
