The Cath Lab Tech will provide exceptional care in our catheterization laboratory, specifically for vascular and cardiac procedures.Position Details: Shifts: 4x10 hour shifts, from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM Experience Required: Minimum of 2 years in a Cath Lab setting Certifications Required: ACLS, BLS, ARRT with a valid MD License or RCIS On-call Requirements: Yes, approximately 7-12 days of call in a 6-week period, with specific hours for weekday and weekend coverage Location: Candidates must reside within a 30-minute radius of the hospital for on-call shiftsJob Responsibilities: Assist in performing diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, including angioplasty, stenting, and electrophysiology studies.

Monitor patient vital signs and ensure accurate readings throughout procedures.

Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team including physicians and nursing staff to provide high-quality patient care.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols during procedures.

Maintain and operate high-end medical equipment, ensuring all equipment is in working order and properly sterilized.

Unit Details: The Cath Lab features four procedure rooms and handles approximately 280 cases each month, including STEMI cases.

Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and unit secretary.Preferred Skills: Proficient in cardioversion, pacemaker insertion, and cardiac mapping.
