Responsibilities:
• Manage and lead the month-end close process to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Oversee the maintenance and reconciliation of the general ledger, ensuring precision and compliance.
• Coordinate and support financial statement audits, providing necessary documentation and resolving inquiries.
• Prepare and review journal entries, ensuring they align with accounting standards and organizational policies.
• Conduct account reconciliations to verify data accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
• Develop and implement best practices for accounting procedures to improve efficiency and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless financial operations.
• Analyze financial data and provide insights to support informed decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and organizational policies.• Proven experience in accounting or financial management roles, with a focus on month-end close and general ledger oversight.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards, including GAAP.
• Familiarity with financial statement audits and the ability to manage audit processes effectively.
• Proficiency in preparing and reviewing journal entries with attention to detail.
