Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Director of Applications to lead and oversee enterprise application strategies and development initiatives in Live Oak, Texas. This role requires a dynamic leader capable of optimizing application architecture, managing cross-functional teams, and delivering impactful solutions aligned with business goals. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, strategic thinking, and exceptional leadership skills to ensure the success of application-related projects.
Responsibilities:
• Direct the development and implementation of enterprise applications and business systems strategies.
• Lead and manage cross-functional teams focused on systems integration, product lifecycle, and application architecture.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align application development with organizational goals and user needs.
• Oversee agile methodologies and product delivery processes to enhance efficiency and performance.
• Manage application budgets, evaluate vendor costs, and ensure alignment with strategic priorities.
• Drive improvements in application platforms, including HRIS, ERP systems, and timekeeping tools.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and external partners.
• Ensure compliance with industry best practices and organizational standards.
• Monitor application performance and implement solutions to optimize user experience.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering growth and development.• Minimum of 7 years of experience in enterprise applications, business systems, or application development.
• At least 3 years of leadership experience managing systems or strategy teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Proficiency in agile software development methodologies and product ownership.
• Strong knowledge of application architecture, enterprise resource planning (ERP), and HRIS platforms.
• Expertise in .NET, C#, ASP.NET, and enterprise-level systems.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage budgets, evaluate vendor costs, and align expenditures with strategic objectives.
