The Integration Engineer's role is to ensure stable operations of the in-house data integrations among our systems.
This includes planning, developing, configuring, supporting, optimizing and documenting all new and current integrations.
The Integration Engineer will work in conjunction with other team members as needed to ensure new projects are completed in a timely and effective manner.
Responsibilities Strategy Planning Design, enhance and maintain all integrations with 3rd parties.
Develop testing plans and procedures for various levels of integration requirements and manage the test plans through completion.
Implement and configure integration for our Middleware Platform (Mulesoft). Vendors Deployment Oversee configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of day to day integration issues.
Interact with suppliers and other 3rd parties to discuss current and future integration requirements.
Conduct research on best practice to maintain a stable and secure integration environment.
Research new features of the middleware solution and provide guidance if they make sense to implement for the business.
Operational Management Manage all integration related issues.
Respond to integration outages and emergencies to keep business uptime 24/7.
Perform root cause analysis to identify and solve all integration related issues.
Continually monitor integrated data to improve processes and ensure all interfaces are working as designed.
Participates as necessary in system upgrade planning, preparation and testing.
Evaluate and set timelines with internal management on all integration projects.
Provide reports and workflow documentation.
Work closely with our 3PL and Warehouse Providers and Internal Logistics Team Qualifications Education: Formal Education Certification.
Bachelor's Degree and equivalent experience in related field.
Minimum three years of experience analyzing integration data.
Knowledge Experience: Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws.
Experience working with Third Party Logistics and Warehousing Integrations Experience working directly with B2B technologies including but not limited to EDI, XML, W3C Web Services, APIs, TSQL.
Proficient in SQL server (writing queries and stored procedures). Knowledge in ERP systems like SAP ByDesign, Epicor or others.
Mulesoft Experience a plus (DataWeave, Java) Personal Attributes Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
